A previously bare dining space with plain walls, minimal furniture and exposed wiring was transformed into a more characterful, functional area featuring a hand‑built under‑stairs desk, concealed electrics, new décor, and curated wall displays.

Structural and decorative work
- Walls painted up to the second dado rail to create a defined visual break.
- Feature wall wallpaper added to bring texture and interest.
- Console unit installed along with a large mirror to open up the space.
- Bicycle wall mount added temporarily as a display piece.
Under‑stairs workspace
- Hand‑built desk enhanced with wood cabinets underneath for storage.
- Concealed wiring routed cleanly to keep the workspace tidy and integrated.
Display features
- HMS Terror wall display added alongside period artwork inspired by its story.
- Large dining table sourced from Facebook Marketplace to complete the room.
Electrical and broadband tidy‑up
- Broadband box tidy with all wiring concealed for a cleaner finish.
